Deadline Hollywood’s Baz Bamigboye talks with Baz Lurhmann, and Global Creatures Producer and CEO, Carmen Pavlovic on their successful creative partnership and their shared philosophy: You can create in Australia but play the world. Pavlovic remembers the Aussie trials that tested the Global Creatures and Moulin Rouge team, in the height of the Covid-pandemic, to rehearse the Australian production and open in 2021 whilst simultaneously running auditions via zoom for Korea, Japan and Germany in three different languages.
