Tickets to Moulin Rouge! The Musical in Melbourne now on sale

Tickets to Moulin Rouge! The Musical are now on sale to the general public after breaking the Regent Theatre record earlier this week for the single biggest day of pre-sale tickets sold.

Due to the extraordinary demand throughout the pre-sale period, a further four weeks of performances have since gone on sale, with tickets now available for performances up to 5 December 2021.

The L’amour sign installation at the Regent Theatre has been extended to allow those who missed out due to the circuit-breaker Melbourne lockdown to visit. The sign is again open to the public daily from midday to 9pm for the remainder of February. In line with Victorian government regulations, visitors will be required to wear a mask when social distancing cannot be maintained.

The Musical is a theatrical celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and — above all — Love. With a book by Tony Award winner John Logan, music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Justin Levine, and choreography by Emmy Award nominee Sonya Tayeh, Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical; it is a state of mind.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical celebrates over 160 years of music from Offenbach to Lady Gaga. Featuring over 70 songs, the production includes many of the iconic hits from the movie as well as new additions from Adele, Katy Perry, Sia, Beyonce, Rihanna and more.

In October 2020 Moulin Rouge! The Musical was honoured with 14 Tony Award nominations including Best Musical. The production was the first Australian-produced musical to originate on Broadway.
