Rachelle Gibson joined Global Creatures in 2022 as Head of Marketing & Communications where she leads the company’s global strategy across marketing and corporate communications. Her role also encompasses working with Global Creatures’ marketing teams on brand management, sales, partnerships and publicity for Global Creatures’ theatrical productions and its licensees worldwide.
With over 25 years’ experience in the Australian film, television, advertising and entertainment sectors, Rachelle has worked across both public and private industry collaborating with federal and state government screen agencies as well as major commercial partners.
Prior to working at Global Creatures, Rachelle worked in marketing and communication roles at Ausfilm, the Australian Association for National Advertisers, Screen Producers Australia Association, Screen Australia, Omnilab Media, Ambience Entertainment Productions, Digital Pictures (Post), Iloura (VFX), Opera Australia and The Bell Shakespeare Company.
Rachelle is also a trained Yoga teacher and is certified in Mental Health First Aid. Rachelle’s favourite play is the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of The Picture of Dorian Grey adapted and directed by Kip Williams.
Roger joined Global Creatures in 2018 as US Marketing Director and transitioned to the lead international marketing role a year later. Roger works closely with Global Creatures’ partners, licensees and the Moulin Rouge of Paris to ensure brand integrity and maximize ticket sales around the world.
Prior to joining Global Creatures Roger managed his entertainment + media consulting practice, worked at Prudential Center Arena as VP, Entertainment Marketing, served as Group Director at Serino/Coyne, and as Director of Marketing at Radio City Entertainment. He has successfully managed campaigns for several Broadway/touring productions and other entertainment/media clients including Lincoln Center Theater, Radio City Entertainment, Madison Square Garden Entertainment, The Bowery Presents, Cirque du Soleil, Big Apple Circus, American Express, AT&T OnStage and Bloomberg TV/Radio. Early in his career Roger held both agency and client-side positions in the Broadcasting & Cable category working on tune-in and brand campaigns for ABC Television and MTV Networks.

John Lanasa joined Global Creatures as the US Marketing Director in 2020. He is responsible for marketing and communications campaign development and management including advertising, publicity, content marketing, promotions, and sponsorships for Global Creatures’ productions in North America.
John has more than 30 years experience in arts marketing having worked at Broadway ad agencies SpotCo and Situation Interactive as well as at the Metropolitan Opera and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. His favourite non-Global Creatures musical – set in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland – is Hairspray.
Richard Coopey joined Global Creatures in 2022 and oversees the marketing and communications for all Global Creatures’ productions in the West End, UK and Europe, including supporting the marketing teams of licenced productions.
Richard has over 20 years of experience in marketing theatre and entertainment and before joining Global Creatures, including as Director of Marketing and Communications at the Almeida Theatre. Prior to this Richard was also an Account Director at the West End marketing agency Dewynters and a Marketing Advisor at British Film Institute (BFI).
Richard loves a broad range of theatre, dance and arts – but one of his favourite musicals is Spring Awakening and he was very proud to have worked on the 2021 London revival directed by Rupert Goold at the Almeida.
Thom has worked at Global Creatures since June 2022. In his role he works closely with the marketing team, overseeing the sales strategy for productions in the UK and the rest of Europe.
Previously he has had roles at AKA and Immersive Everywhere, but began working in the world of ticketing in a West End box office. He loves too many musicals to pick a favourite, but Cabaret and Saucy Jack & The Space Vixens are definitely up there.
Joining in Spring 2024, Matilda is the latest addition to the Global Creatures UK team as its Marketing Manager. Matilda supports the delivery of marketing campaigns for productions across the UK and Europe, including Moulin Rouge! The Musical in the West End, on tour, and its licensed productions in Germany and the Netherlands.
With nearly a decade of arts marketing experience spanning both subsidised and commercial sectors, Matilda is passionate about creating campaigns with meaningful impact. One of her favourite performances is Lost Dog’s Paradise Lost (lies unopened beside me), a contemporary dance retelling of Milton’s epic poem, which is much better than it sounds.
Alex Contras joined the London office in 2021 after completing degrees in theatre, film, and television studies. As Marketing Coordinator, Alex supports the Marketing Directors and Managers in delivering cohesive, impactful campaigns, with a focus on UK and European projects.
He’s also an enthusiastic contributor to internal communications such as newsletters and intranet posts, helping keep the team connected and informed. Alex’s favourite musical is Hairspray.
Jessie Willis joined the Global Creatures Sydney office in June 2023 as Social Media Assistant for Moulin Rouge! The Musical Australia. In February 2024, she transitioned into the role of Marketing Coordinator, where she supports the execution of marketing activities across Global Creatures and its worldwide productions.
Driven by her love of theatre and passion for creating impactful digital content, Jessie is a highly enthusiastic member of the Global Creatures team. In her spare time, Jessie loves spending time with her Labrador and binge watching reality-television. Her favourite musical is Hamilton (aside from Moulin Rouge! The Musical, of course).
