Ronen Ghosh joined Global Creatures as CFO in July 2023 and has responsibility for the Group’s Corporate and Production Finance functions.
Ronen has worked in the entertainment industry for more than 25 years having held senior finance roles internationally in music publishing and recorded music rights management with blue-chip organisations including Alberts, BMG and Universal. A passionate supporter of live entertainment, Ronen is a director of City Recital Hall Limited, a world-class purpose-built performance venue in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
Ronen is a Chartered Accountant, a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of New South Wales. Ronen’s favourite musical is West Side Story, and his favourite play is Stereophonic.
Geoffrey Ko joined Global Creatures in 2022. As Production Finance Director, Geoffrey manages the budgeting, forecasting and analysis of the financials for Global Creatures’ existing and upcoming productions. Geoffrey works with general managers, production accountants, tax and legal advisors, royalty participants and investors across the world to ensure compliance with legislation and commercial agreements.
Geoffrey worked in financial modelling and corporate restructuring across numerous industries before moving across to theatre and the arts. His previous roles were at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and the Sydney Opera House, and one of his favourite theatrical experiences was Wayne McGregor’s Woolf Works created for The Royal Ballet.
Kellie Harkness has a wealth of previous live performance experience having worked in the United Kingdom for BBC, MTV and UKTV. Upon returning to Australia she moved into Public Practice to acquire a knowledge of Australian Taxation, before returning to events and live performance where her passion lies.
As Financial Controller Kellie is primarily responsible for global compliance and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. She manages all facets of insurance along with the execution of processes and procedures to maintain efficiency, minimise risk and enhance performance.
Kellie is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and has excellent experience in financial and management accounting, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, treasury management and payroll. In addition, Kellie loves tax and compliance and is nearing the completion of the Chartered Tax Advisory (CTA) qualification with the Tax Institute. Kellie’s favourite production alternates between The Phantom of the Opera and Blood Brothers, both of which she feels were truly inspiring and unforgettable.
