GLOBAL CREATURES is an international entertainment group that develops new and exciting theatrical productions to take to audiences around the world.

Its animatronics arm, The Creature Technology Company, invents, develops and deploys the latest in animatronic design which combines cutting edge automation technology, the sophistication of animatronic puppetry and the unique magic of live performance.

The company’s first venture was Walking With Dinosaurs The Arena Spectacular, which represented a new entertainment genre on its own. A project of unprecedented size and quality, it has now been seen by over 8 million people around the world. The show is based on the eponymous award-winning BBC TV series, and was conceived and developed in Australia, making its global debut there in 2007.

Global Creatures’ second production, How To Train Your Dragon Arena Spectacular, has just completed a North American tour after critical and box office success in both Australia and New Zealand. This co-production with Dreamworks Theatricals shows off more incredible life-like creatures – this time mythical dragons – developed by The Creature Technology Company.

In association with The National Theatre of Great Britain, Global Creatures is producing the smash-hit War Horse in Australia in 2012. 

On June 15, 2013, KING KONG will have its global premiere at Melbourne’s historic Regent Theatre. Five years in the making, this multi-million dollar music theatre event will feature a cast of 50 actors, singers, dancers and circus performers, and a six-metre tall, one-tonne leading man – the most technologically advanced puppet in the world.

Global Creatures and Bazmark will bring to the stage STRICTLY BALLROOM THE MUSICAL, based on the much-loved classic Australian film. This new theatrical production, scheduled to premiere at Sydney’s Lyric Theatre in early 2014, will be directed by Baz Luhrmann and designed by Catherine Martin.
